try again fucker
now that you've made an incredibly incriminating statement, Id say she should be suing you. That was some very bad judgment on your behalf.
dayam! really? fuck man thats depressing
Yeah bro, and the way he totally almost killed that girl took huge balls. C'mon Jeff, you've been on this forum a long time. Are you honestly just going snidely pass off this guys attitude?
Also Rel, you should be putting a call into your buddies at SF PD to watch out for this asshole instead of worrying about suspending people.
Keith Code said something a while back that really hit me as spot-on. "We begin with an empty bucket of expierience and a full bucket of luck. The hope is that we can fill our bucket of expierience before our bucket of luck is empty."
Well said. And what many people don't realize is that bucket of luck is usually very, very small.

Doing something stupid and risking your own life is your own choice. Doing something stupid and risking others lives is not. If you die you simply win the local Darwin award and the world is free of your genes for eternity.
A friend of mine had a couple of drinks and then ran into the back of a moving truck while doing 130 mph on hwy 87 at 2am. Fortunately he only had minor road rash and a seriously broken wrist. After 30 days in jail, he learned from it, and stopped riding, partially because of his dumb decision and partially due to the damage to his wrist. I also have heard of stupid female passengers who like pulling wheelies. The question here is do you learn from it stop pulling that crap with passengers. :|
Ummmm, like the street racing threads or the stunter vids?
Ok...I guess that's not all I'll say.
I see a two sided coin here. On one hand, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for riding like an ass when 2up.....EVER! So no, he doesn't get a free pass from me.
That said, and if his story is true, if this thread prevents only one rider from riding squidly with another life behind him/her (almost always guys) then the self inflicted abuse the o.p has brought on himself has at least some overall value.
I have a 19 year old son that rides. Motorcycling is an incredibly selfish sport/activity. I didn't understand that until I became a parent. I really had no idea what I was putting my loved ones through until he started riding. The fact that I was riding motorcycles at his young age only fuels my concerns as I am left with the empty parental statement : "Do as I say, not as I did." For me to take an absolute position on ALL irresponsible riding would only be pure hypocracy from me and I am aware of that.

The hope is that we can fill our bucket of expierience before our bucket of luck is empty."
Powerful words.
Over time, most of us *get it*. Some of us never do. Those are the ones we lose.
alcohol and bikes dont mix...ever. in any situation.
If Oppie liquors up a chick and does wheelies, he gets to inseminate her and make little stunting Oppies.

I made my gf take MSF and get her M1 before buying Helmet, Jacket, Pants, Gloves, Boots. for her before we gone 2 up. Its nice to have someone behind you who knows how to ride and what to do in turns
There should be a LAW requiring that pillions pass MSF class too, period.
