Arizona immigrant law coming to Cali

We do have overlords. They are called corporations and various pressure groups. Don't even think for a second that US government is some benevolent entity with the best intentions for us. The lobbyist for vested interests get us to go to wars, stay in those wars, waste money on roads to nowhere, fund weapons that have no use, open military bases where they are not needed, waste funds on creating departments that serve only themselves.

What the fuck does that have to do with anything? People have power and they use it to gain more. It has always been that way and always will. The difference in nations is the systems they allow to distribute that power and the standard of living that creates for society at large. If you are possibly suggesting that having corporation in power creates an equal or inferior standard of living for society at large than having Drug Cartels in power, you need to get your head checked.

Why? Mexico isn't run by cartels because America has paid them to take over the Country. Mexico is a shithole by design. Their last revolution in 1910 insured that they would forever be hostile to foreign investors and only ever a pawn in international politics by law of their constitution. The U.S. has its drug lords and crime bosses too; the difference is ours don't own our country because we have a nation that is designed to be successful rather than forsake foregin influence at the expense of our own economy.

Why?

It's not about making the cartels unsuccessful. Or trying to make the Mexicans happy.

It's about the fact that there are portions of my own state, that my own country, tells me to stay the fuck out of because they're actually controlled by foreign cartels.

And FUCK what that means to Mexico and Mexicans. That is a failure by the American government to protect American people on their own soil. Greedy corporate interests and bleeding heart politics have left our borders open for decades to the residents of a parasitic and hostile foregin power and now that we're finally starting to wake up to the problems we've created nobody wants to point the finger at where the problem actually lies. It's not Mexico's corrupt government, it's not Americans desire to consume illegal drugs, it's modern Americans lazy unwillingness to stick a fucking flag pole in what's ours, and kill every motherfucker on earth that sets foot there to try and take it from us. We as a people should give NOT A SHIT about the hardship a closed border causes Mexico.

THEY HAVE NEVER, EVER, EVER been a friend to the United States. We issue them THOUSANDS of legal visas EVERY YEAR, which is a damn sight more than any European nation is willing to give them yet they expect more from us. These fucking parasites have such OUTRAGEOUS audacity that when the United States passes a state law that simply dictates EXISTING Federal laws will be enforced, they send their President to REPREMAND OUR CONGRESS and attack our constitution! We owe this shitty fucking insect of a nation NOTHING, we give them EVERYTHING and they simply continue to take advantage of our lazy, ignorant, undisciplined, unpatriotic and apathetic population majority. That is the problem with the U.S. and Mexico. This disgusting nation of shameless beggars has grown FAR too accustomed to shoring up their own weakness with our spare change when we should have been putting it away for our own rainy day, along with a great many OTHER excesses for which we are now paying the toll. Tolerance of this foreign rodent burrowing in our flower bed and undermining our strength is the true problem here and unfortunately, I have a deep fear that we may have bred too many sympathetic to the enemy into the ranks of our citizenry to fix the problem without serious bloodshed. That tolerance of this loathsome and cancerous foreign blight is the problem and until it is diagnosed correctly by our leaders, we will not find the cure.

It will be a logistical nightmare. County jails are already so full that violent felons are getting O.R. or being cited to appear. With the number of undocumented immigrants, the size of jails would have to triple to hold them all.

Spend a couple Bill to create processing camps for ICE to manage all the deportations. Take it from the DEA and Homeland Security funds we piss away. Call it $30 billion over 10 years with a target of deporting 1 million per year. Figure that another 2 million will either be integrated legally, go home on their own or stay unfound. In 10 years we have no illegal problem.

None of that will work unless you take away the economic side of the equation.

As long as there are willing employers, you will have illegal immigrants no mater how harsh the punitive measures are.

Which just again shows the need for a National Identity Card. Make an identity card with an easy electronic validation system much like the RFID in a passport. Make it easy for an employer to check employee validity and suspend the business license of ANY business willfully hiring illegals. Consider it an act of treason and sieze assets to pay for the cost of deporting, "Non-Violent Invaders." Increase privacy protection legislation to protect citizens.

The Mexican Governemtn HAS its shit together as best as it is able. Mexico needs drastic constituitional changes in order to be a successful competitor in the international global community. It's not the government of Mexico that needs to get its shit together, it is the people of Mexico who need to get their shot together by changed their federal laws to tearing down their corrupt local officials. As long as the United States continues to act as the default welfare proram for that bankrupt nation, this will never happen.

I agree with you that Mexico is a shithole. What I don't agree with you is that I don't believe Mexicans will ever get their shit together and throw out corrupt officials. Ever. They are just too damn broke. Also the fact that they can't own any guns means they will never fight off the cartels. The cartels own their asses like I own shoes. So what we need to do is, put up a giant wall that will rival the Great Wall of China on the border and hand them legal immigration forms when they try to come here illegally. They can keep their drugs, gangs, rape, poverty, culture, and everything else over there.

Stimulus measure:

High speed rail from Tucson to Guadalajara. Locked cars.

Don't just deport them, drop them off in the south of Mexico. If they hike all the way back, and can prove it, give them a visa.

I shouldn't have to see this:

We don't need to jail illegals, we need to deport them and we need to do it expediciously. To pay for some of our expenses we can seize their property that they have purchased with an unlawful source of income.

We need to punish the employers that hire them. Employers will hire illegals if there is a financial incentive. Impose fines large enough that they will dwarf any savings the employers get by paying lower wages to illegals. Start N enforcement campaign and make sure it makes headline news so other employers know that they are next.

I'd like to hear from some of our LEOs on this. How may of you guys want to take on the additional duties of checking citizenship and arresting illegals?

I think you'll find throughout history almost every revolution that ever mattered was caused by either religion or poor living conditions. The people of Mexico are not as useless as Americans perceive them to be, we just think that because they send all their garbage citizens here. If the American welfare system cuts them off, they will be forced into a position of drastic change. Once that happens, they'll enforce the economic changes that they stalled with their stupid 1910 revolution and become a major economic force. As the largest latino nation in the world with significant natural resources to exploit, they will be a valuable addition to a North American Economic Alliance similar to the European Union after the focus of the global economy moves to Asia amid a trade war between India and China. Give Mexico 30 years and it could become a real country populated by humans, but WE must enforce strict changes to protect our interests here at home so they can address theirs. It's just as Kofi Annan said in his U.N. study of migration from underdeveloped nations. "Lack of opportunity at home should not be the primary purpose of international migration."

^that.

mexico is crappy cause those that hate it, can just leave instead of effecting change. if they stop having the escape route north, the country will start having real change, cause they will have to.

personally Id also like to see the usa military have more of a real presence regarding the drug wars and cartels. instead of being in irag and afghan, we need to have them here to help fight problems that actually face our country and its people. I dont mean an invasion of mexico but planned operations to help the mexican government fight them.

we are in danger of having a true failed state on our border, and we should be doing all we can to deal with that

Our immigration policy should be just to allow for the hot latina women. When they get over 30...throw them back over the border.

It's not JUST the escape opportunity for the poorest and dumbest able bodied citizens that typically are the foot soldiers of a revolution (civil or violent); it's the fact that this escape is a MAJOR contributor to their economy. This is why it is a self perpetuating cycle of failure for that nation. The very people who should be carrying the burden of reform in Mexico on their backs and demanding legal change to make Mexico more friendly to foreign investors to stimulate their economy are the people who get sent here as criminals to live in a shadow society that undermines the standard of living for our own lower class citizens. It's a lose for both sides.

and it's THAT kind of Aztlan thinking that will get all the funny little Mexicans killed in a very short amount of time. They are simply not capable of fighting like Americans can fight. Not even close and not on any level. When the Texans start talking about the Alamo again, it will be a dark, dark day in Mexico City.
