LOLWUT?
whats that? a literature thread? awe shit son.

anyway. lets say you can only recomend ONE book. one piece of fiction, what would it be? what is the best bok youbve read, the most important book, the one book that you think EVERYONE should read? one book or work of fiction (could be a play script, a comic book...) that should basicaly be required readimg, which is it?

why?

Most of what I read is current events, or technical. My favorite fictional classic was probably The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.

Brave New World. It's relavent and we are quickly headed that direction.

The Adventures of Huck Finn.

'cause it's all about the best parts of being an American. I read it to my daughter a few years back, and on the advice of fellow barfers and discussing it with my daughter, I replaced the word "nigger" with "ninja".

Hm, this thread made me realize how much I used to read and how the damn internet killed my interest in it over the past 10years.
And also that I don't have one books that stands out either...
The last book/books I really enjoyed where the "Girl with the dragon tattoo trilogy"
And that was few years ago.
And I know there are so many really good books out there I would really enjoy.
Damn internets!
