Is it a role play game in meatspace , dress up party at conventions, or a lifestyle?

Met a woman in her early 30s and yes she is hawt. But in a quirky kinda way a bit odd. She's Eurasian but her way of putting on make up made her look like a Japanese anime just like her clothing. She is attractive, intelligent, but it also seems like she's in a different dimension.

After dinner, I walked her to her car. A Nissan hybrid. With eyelashes on the headlights and something that looks like hello kitty seat covers but looks like a cow. She told me what her car's name was but I forgot after I said hello to it. I hear music from the car audio which sounded like Alvin and the chipmunks on helium , smoking crack, in either Japanese, Korean, or Swedish language...

So if we go out again, which I'm doubting, should I bring my light saber and robes or my imperial issued blaster? She only eat in San Francisco japan town where she feels the most comfortable. Anybody wanna dress up like a wookie so we can double date and I can show her other places?

Yep, I'm like what da fuck happened today kind of feeling right now

Sometimes ya gotta get outside your comfort zone. If it means dressing up as a superhero or deity well then, ya gotta do what ya gotta do! Nobody said you had to marry her, but your story here ended with walking her back to her car when based on the quoted sentence it should have ended with you sneaking out of the bed like a thief in the night.

Do the needful. PIITB

Thanks, rs I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever find out the answer myself.

As to OP, just run away. Who in the HELL wants to have anything to do with Asian comics perverts? Find a grown-up for a date fercrynoutloud.

people like something different or unfamiliar to me so i am going to make fun of them.

pls reply.

Dude, people who know how to (role/cos) play are people that know how to have a fun time. You want to know people with varying interest and hobbies in your life.

It ain't my thing, but some of the costumes that people design and create by hand are fuckin amazing.

^^I can see that to a point, Karb. But that's why we have Halloween, Carnaval, etc. Making a big ol lifestyle thing just seems childish. We live in a kidult society, enabled by global capitalism, and the apathy and inattention to our social problems is killing us as a nation and as a people. There is a place for fun, but there is also a place to emulate adulthood. We have way too much childhood. Delayed gratification makes fun better than going straight to the gratification. The entire pretext of cast-it-off for a night celebrations is a life of labor.

I know, everybody wants to FEEEEEL good about ALLLL of their personal life choices. It's killing us. I don't buy it, but hey, it's just an opinion amidst all the narcissism of the selfie decade. Go right ahead and reject it as geezer talk, as that's a constant meme here anyway.

Can you honestly disagree that people aren't a bit too self-absorbed these days in their virtual existences at the peril of living, breathing human beings and nature? Because, to me, the anime emulation is a kind of virtual thing. I wouldn't have even imagined it existed, were it nor for this thread.
