Pretty much why i just gave up trying to discuss it.
So being a hypocrite makes you a liar as well?

Since the Ice Age, the earth has continued to warm, presumably.
But the public is expected to believe in computer models of doom and gloom that are constantly modified.

But the public is expected to believe in computer models of doom and gloom that are constantly modified. This dubious modeling is backed up by dubious data collection that is also regularly massaged and "corrected" for error.

We all have inconsistency in our lives. Are you completely free of any hypocrisy? I'm not. Does that mean everything I say is wrong?
...While I'm here to get a solar system installed.
I, for one, welcome our new Arizona God.
My kiddo is on Level 2 Evacuation Status right meow in Oregon. Car is packed and gassed up, they're ready to go if they get the word to bug out.
If I showed you the facts that demonstrate dozens of cities in the US are now dealing with greatly-increased flooding, would that convince you? Or do the cities have to be actually underwater 100%?
I searched the transcript of "inconvenient truth" and couldn't find a single prediction of when there'd be enough sea-level rise to complete submerge 12 US cities.
But I don't think actual facts have any meaning for the majority of the people on this forum, not in the era of alternative facts.

Now there's another fucking record-breaking weather event. But holy fuck, that's just part of the normal cycle.
How about the skies raining blood and frogs? Or giant locust swarms consuming all the corn in Iowa? Night turns into day? Talking horses? Would you guys believe the climate was changing then? Stubborn fuckers!
Oregon is losing its state park crown jewels along the Gorge, from the fire a 15 year old Vancouver resident threw a smoke bomb down a canyon. While I'm here to get a solar system installed.
A very displaced ying/yang
I was thinking a good start is multiple hurricanes beating sense into climate change denying idiots - Harvey, Irma and the fledgling Jose, that ocean water heating up is a real thing and leads to bad outcomes as the scientists have been clamoring for so long.
If they don't, then they will be taking the rest of us down with them.

That is how science works. A model is derived, based on the best information available at the time. That model is modified or replaced as new evidence/data come to light. There are very few absolute truths in science and that is because our understanding of the universe continues to evolve as we learn more. If you want to have a set of "truths" that will not change, regardless of evidence, then religion might be a better place for you to look. Religion, while useful for a great many people, does not help further our understanding of the world and the universe. In many cases it hinders those efforts.
that governor of Texas should resign. Fucker.
