I had a great idea for a TV show. Dude gets wrongly convicted of murder and ends up being executed. He's a buddhist, so he is reincarnated over and over again, as someone about to be wrongly executed. Episode 1 is his life etc. Then he gets killed and comes back as a little girl in a Mayan village for Episode 2. Everything is wonderful and they throw him/ her a big party. Then carry them up the pyramid and sacrifice her. Then he comes back as a rich guy taking a ship across the Atlantic. It's the Titanic. Then he comes back as......

Our street has a dead end that butts up against a field. They blocked access into the field last week and I'm pretty sure it's because they're about to fill it up with houses.
 
My indecisiveness just cost me fifty bucks.
Bumped up the shipping method to ensure the headlight arrives on Tuesday so I can wear it when I leave on Wednesday.

Had I ordered this on Monday it would have shipped for free and still made it in time. :mad

I had a big freak out... I was fucking around working when a phone call came in... "You are supposed to be here for a permit meeting"

OH...fuck me.. stress level to the moon because if you do not show it will be 2 mos to get the permit and my client would :kicknuts

"You have until 10am to get this done " or it will roll into the regular slow asssssssssssssss process

Then a fast drive to get there and overcoming several hurdles to clear the mofo at 9:54. The hurdles meant phone calls and shit to be done from my employee (who had fucked up). :rant

Kept me from other tasks that were time sensitive too and calling a different employee he could not get into his email to do the task :rant

I am ready for a shot of tequila.. F@CK me. I am too old for this shit.
 
This morning at coffee we were discussing "plans" and making a list. In the middle of this we looked at each other and asked "what happened to us?" Pretty sure we got old, fat and tired.

Mostly though, don't think our personal lives ever regained their momentum following Covid. It took a year to untangle our escrow and finally get our names on the deed. By that time it was late 2019 and house building plans had to be postponed until 2020. Then COVID and the sky rocketing cost of materials. Then the increase of insurance costs and tripling of bureaucratic permitting costs and restrictions...

WE looked at each other and realized it isn't being old- we are just done.
