Entire West Coast Ride - Party in Half Moon Bay 9/7.

Damn RZ wouldn't fire up this morning. I'll try some new plugs this afternoon when I get home but I might have to take the Road King to HMB this evening.

First world problems, but still. :x

We will be HMB dinner around 6:00 pm. Barf shirt and BMW hat. Stockton MC sweat shirt if cold. Not cold now 79 degrees at the beach. If you see me come over and say hi.

We had some serious fun at Princeton Landing tonight.

It was great to meet so many who BARF in person! And as far as I know, no one actually threw up, either!

I was a little surprised at how night blind I've gotten in my dotage. Good thing I have ridden CA1 so many times I could do it blindfolded.

Day 6

Today was another fun day. Challenging. Roadwork and ..?? Got us 45 minutes behind when we got to Fort Ross but still did our thing. Super cool place. Got some great video. Gave up lunch again to stick on schedule.

We made to the GGB Vista point to meet the SFMC boys at 3 on the dot.
So many thanks to Brian and all for leading us across the bridge. Great time and historic vibrations.

Honestly after the heat wars of yesterday and seeing 91 in Tomales Bay and the fucking 4151 second gear turns I got a bit tired. :laughing

Thanks to Mean Dad, bikeama, OB1Ventura, Motorama, and a bunch of friends for coming out to the Old Princeton was :Port

Several of the Fred’s Family and some real family too. Great time.

A few pics. In a screwed up order. :p
Fort Ross Cannon shot.
Chill considering the future of his modeling career.
OB1Ventura and Motorama
Camera a sound Fam
One awesome camera man and Chill
Producer Patty and Jonathan
We have got awesome camera man into the Barf vibe.
bikeama and his lovely wife.
SFMC - the vest means you really ride.

Film Crew wanted a day off so we pick up again on Friday.
That means I go to work and pray shit is OK.

LA weather news freaking out last nite. Pushing the panic button for the hurricane off Baja.
Current fires, burn scars, and desert washouts, no mention of big surf at all.

I'm :ride to Shelter Cove today.

All you guys :party :party :party for me.

What an awesome ride adventure!!!! Bummer i just found this thread, missed yesterdays bar scene. Have fun guys!!!

Day off update

Thanks Ricky!!

And much thanks for taking care of Jonathan's bike.. new chain!...that chain looked like it could fail and since we had a day off you came through for us my friend!

For those following attached is a map for Ride Day 7.
Half Moon Bay to Morro Bay.

Butch is joining for some of the ride which will be cool.
The Hurricane down south could provide some wet weather, but I hope not because the road below Big Sur is some really good stuff.

Nice to rest the bod a bit for sure and get some work done. At this point I am glad the film crew wanted the day off.!

Jonathan's bike back in shape.
A chance to get a couple more mini hard drives. We filled two 4TB drives already and that did not include anything from yesterday.
I get to see Mrs. Budman :love

And....I get to pick up the dog poop. :laughing

That place in Fort Bragg has a great breakfast. Good choice. Next time you're up that way, try Queenie's Roadhouse in Elk for breakfast or what I am convinced is the best hamburger, anywhere.
Your phone takes great photos!

Looks like temps in South won't be intolerable, some possible rain in SD on Thurs, though. Enjoy Big Sur shoreline ride, it's definitely a main event.

Enjoyed meeting everyone in HMB. Left the :cool coast this morning and returned to :flame 106 degrees in the central valley.

That place in Fort Bragg has a great breakfast. Good choice.

It was tasty but, $35 for two eggs, two slices of bacon, and two slices of French toast was too much $.

Been following this...sounds like there's been no shortage of memorable days!

I rode with the boys from Soquel to Big Sur. Awesome.
Where is that Fun Meter?

First the heat and now the end of a hurricane. This is an awesome trip.

I hope this is all gone by the time you get this far south.

Day 7

We met and the San Gregorio store to start today’s journey.

Butch would join us for a bit today. Invited rider with a lot on his plate.

Pidgon Point was our first stop and we made a couple
Friends when we rode past the barriers to park at the lighthouse. Mark and Peter from the east coast dug our vibe.

On to SANTA CRUZ TO MEET Butch and Enchanter. Some slab to Monterey and then a drone shoot at the Bixby Bridge lunch at the Big Sur River Inn. Butch went home. We then took off and passed every damn tourist on the road :laughing

Hella fun. The wharf crew lit the shit up and we split into two groups.
Found a moto down and the dude had a broken leg.

After being loaded we go the pass to rip again.

We fucked up and missed a shoot at thee Big Creek Bridge because...in the zone.
Onto Morro Bay for some interviews and then dinner at Rosie’s. (Service sucked).

Drama. None on the ride. Ahead of schedule. Everything great and then Danny was complaining about allergies at Morro Rock. After checking in we got the drama.

Danny has Covid and will head home tomorrow. :(

Thought we finally had a day done per schedule and then. Mamola.

A few pics.

I'm loving keeping up with you, Bud. Thanks for the frequent photo dumps. I'm sure it's a PITA for you but it's a real treat for us.
I have a potentially stupid question. Your post says you met Butch and Enchanter in Santa Cruz. I thought Enchanter was riding with you the entire time.:dunno

Morro Bay, Three Stacks and a Rock. I had to look that up. They are coming down by 2028. Not the Rock.

I'm glad they're leaving the rock. :laughing

Wow, super cool adventure y'all are on! Sorry I missed the HMB festivities, clearly I need to check in on barf more often.

Enjoy being out on the road together, great stuff!
