Herrin did a good job this last weekend at showing he is one of the main contenders. Lewis show well too, but not like Josh.

It would be a miracle if Herrin hasn't burned every factory bridge he had/has in AMA/MA.

Why do you say that? Josh rode for an injured Beaubier at the final two rounds of the 2017 season. Do people who burn bridges normally get fill-in rides for injured riders on factory teams?

I don't know if Herrin has burned the bridges to Yosh but if he hasn't, then he must be at the top of their list.

I'd think so too, but then again he's not a spring chicken. I think they would want younger.

A little birdie told us that Herrin doesn't know shit technically though. Has no idea to give feedback or setup a bike. Just rides like crazy. If that is true, then he has no shot.

Jake Lewis looks fast to me and is from M4 team, so he should naturally progress.

JD is the other obvious choice, put in his dues and needs to get out of Supersport to make that series more interesting/exciting.

Debise could be possible, but he will sit in 600's for a bit.

Lewis used to have that seat till Tony replaced him after an injury.I would imagine that unless Scholtz says yes they grab Lewis.

JD gonna get the seat most likely, not Jake or Matthew.
Graves being tagged to run the SBK Yamaha team next year with only one bike with Gerloff as rider.
Cam most likely going to WSBK on Petronas Yamaha team

I will be pissed if Graves only fields 1 SBK. it seems like they tried hard to control the rulebook year after year in MA, to keep their competitive advantage with electronics, chassis development, etc etc. reducing the number of paid championship-contending rides after doing all that is a slap in the face to MA.

You talking about Graves or the Mladin/Spies Suzuki era? Talk about the old days of, "Yes of course our electronics are within spec..."

SBK (and Supersport and Jr Cup) have gone through significant changes since MA took over. im sure Graves (and Yosh) are consulted on most of the rule changes. there was plenty of talk that some of the "exceptions" to new SBK electronics changes were because Graves pushed back hard. and i think everyone agrees that Jr Cup wouldnt have seen so many balancing changes without Graves.

Yes, I know. I was making light of the constant electronics rumors and whispers from the old days when Mladin ran away every year.
