Those 180 horses MUST be at the crank, and even then I'll have to see it on an independent dyno to believe it. Still, GREAT looking bike!!! I can't wait for the magazine comparo's this year with all the new liter bikes!

In three years, once they come out with an '06 new gen R1, I think I'm going to have to buy this '04. Plans for the future!

I just wet myself looking at those Yamaha pics. Hands down the sexiest bike on the market. Can't wait to get my leg around it!!!!

I haven't been this exited about a bike since the 98 R1 came out. (and i got that one)


The ONLY thing I don't like about it is has the single headlight setup (borrowed from the Duc) I always liked my double headlights. Oh well.

Sorry what single headlight setup? I dont see anything barrowed from the ducati in the headlight area.

I mean that when you use low beams it's a single headlight, even though there are headlights on both sides.
