Thinking about an RS125 swap for mini racing
Like the title says. I’ve seen a lot of rs85s around. 2valve 4 strokes to 230 ccs are legal, anyone ever try an xr200 swap? If so any pics?

Seems like a air cooled 2 valve thumper would be a lot of fun in the light Rs Chassis. I’m guessing it would be a tight fit bit these guys look like they tried it:

BTW I guess I should say I’m looking for a RS125 or RS85 project or bike or whatever. Preferably in the PNW.
Nobody’s tried the air cooled 4 stroke swap huh? How about an old air cooled 70s CR two stroke 125? It’s about the same hp as the modern 85s.....anybody? |

I know this is an older thread so maybe you already have a project going but if you wanted an air cooled motor look into a xr100/crf100 motor. This guy in LA had one swapped into RS chassis for his son, Pretty cool bike.

Bump....
Anybody know where there’s a 96+ RS125 in the PNW? Been hitting the interwebs pretty hard and have located about 5 on the east coast for a decent price. |
