I was going to link my 'you'll regret it' post from your FS add, but you deleted it.

Silence you! I regret nothing.
The master I used was 14mm.

Some day you will see the error of your ways and come back to a DRZ. Trust me on this.
![]() Oh and I looked at that funky master you got. I decided against it, as I don't think it's a true 14mm. I even started a thread on it! http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/fo...d.php?t=351350 |

Ride one first. Make sure you're on the best ignition map too. They're great, great bikes, but SUPER aggressive in terms of setup and throttle response.

I've heard/read this about the KTM, dunno about the Husky. On the DRZ the FCR flatslide is worlds more responsive than the stock CV Mikuni, but is still relatively soft - it's one of the things that I actually like about the DRZ. It's comfy to ride around all day on goats and streets. Now where do I find something with the power and handling of the screamin' tards, but the excellent manners of the DRZ?
Guess I'll just have to keep the DRZ for a while longer ![]()

Ask me in person how I really feel about that machine ![]() http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/fo...d.php?t=202842 Anyways, it really is like a DRZ on crack. But it does have some drawbacks. The motor is very vibey even with the counterbalancer, and the gearing is very short. Compared to the DRZ, the bike does not feel very refined, and I also struggled with the stock suspension. There's a lot to like about the bike, but there are also a lot of drawbacks. As for the 690 SMC, that would be THE SM to get! I love that bike, it's just the used prices are not really inline with my reality at the moment. ![]() |
