Say Addio, Au Revoir, Ciao, Goodbye to the Junction Ride 10/25 - BARF

Going to be a group ride heading up to the Junction on Sunday, 10/25 to say our goodbyes and put a little $ in their register.

Link to FB group below. Meet up at the the Chevron off N. Livermore Ave (exit 52 off 580 Freeway East) at 2186 Las Positas court.
Meet time is 10:00 (Sf and South Bay riders will join us East Bay/North Bay guys there) and Kick stands up at 10:30.
Will ride Mines to the Junction, stop for eats and continue up to Mt Hamilton. South Bay riders will head back to San Jose and the North/East Bay riders can either ride Mines back to 580 and all points West/North or take Mines/Vasco/Marsh Creek Rd to 680 to Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill etc.

Bring water, $ for lunch/excessive tips, proper gear (yup, no jeans/T-shirts/tennis shoes) and a non-competitive attitude. It’ll be a fun ride and you’ll be doing a Good Thing.

You’ve been meaning to hit Mines and 10am ain’t that damn early, so get out there.

Any experience with the group hosting it? FB currently shows "61 going", which gives me tremendous pause.

The olde type Barf rides were fun with 5-10 folks who knew each other... but 50+ randoms from the internet on a 1-lane road (with oncoming traffic)?

I would be very concerned about safety.

I agree that number would be ridiculous on Mines; looking at the two FB Events* I see ~17 s and I’ll be surprised if half show.

* there was an Event posted in the Bay Area Motorcycle Rides/events group, I just cross referenced it in a Triumph Riders group.
