Just regular pruning? I like to envision a ball in the center of the plant and clear that out, as well as maintain a splash zone clearance from the soil. It's better to prune a little ten times, as opposed to one or two big prunes, but I've done the latter and it's worked out okay. If you have a plant that loves to get powdery mildew, then you have to get really anal, maybe even trying to keep leaves from laying on top of each other. Some plants like to get super bushy and really fill in, but I always like to prune enough that I can essentially see through the plant. Also helps to not trellis all the branches in tight and use the trellis to open it up. Anyway, I think you just need to understand the basic idea, then applying it logically sorts it out. The basic idea being that air needs to be able to get in/out.

ok, so that's pretty much what I have been doing. Prune for abatement.

I moved up to 1k lights so I'm hoping that will improve my yield and bud size

Any truth to never prune in flower?

Do you prune low growth regularly? Or nip off buds outside of the light line?

General rule is to aim for 50w/sq-ft or better. The way people apply the math is weird sometimes though. They go by their tray size when really it works out to more like 35w/sq-ft by canopy.

Uh oh. A couple days of moderate humidity and this is what happens. Gonna have to keep a more diligent eye on these ladies moving forward. Still shooting for a Halloween harvest. <fingers crossed>
