F1TV just subscribe, cheap, and watch. Not complete races, just one half hour of highlights, which is about all I can stand anyway.

So bad was Mazepin in this race that a group of F1 fans on social media even organised a campaign to try to ironically vote him as the driver of the day. Either they didn't get enough votes behind the campaign or F1 dismissed the Russian's candidacy, because this honour was given to Perez.

Bottas looked like he was going to run away with it until he inevitably stubbed his toe.

Two mistakes my VerStappen handed the race to Hamilton in a sense though it was clear that unlike Bottas Hamilton is a shark once the race starts and he seeks to wear down his opponent when "feeling it."

Red Bull will contest the manufacturer's race for sure as Perez finished an impressive fourth.

Ricciardo beaten by both Alpines!

Max would very much not race in Portim„o every again.

I would like them to go back to Mugello again. Drivers love it.

Sneaky move by Bottas on restart, I wonder if he was watching hamilton's head to see when he looked away. He probably thought he had the race in the bag at that point.

Hamilton showed why he has so many wins, patience and pounce on the opportunity when it presents itself.

Bottas is getting whiny, his statements of not having pace when he needed it was hinting at the team turning down his power settings. I think he knows that if Hamilton stays with the team, he will be replaced with Russell.

Perez was solid.

Was that a team orders pass with the Ferrari's when LeClerc went past Sainz?

Looked like it but LeClerc had more pace and beat him by almost 10 seconds in the end.

What was with Toto recording Bottasís press interview after the race. No similar monitoring of Hamiltonís interview.

Did not expect him to get pole after VerStappen was, what, a half second faster in Q2?

Great strategy by Mercedes.

That was not a race day strategy as they purposely held on to two sets of Mediums and knew Red Bull only has one for VerStappen.

Hopefully Ricciardo's excellent finish will lead to a great McLaren/Ferrari second tier contest while Mercedes and Red Bull fight up front.

It was interesting that Bottas made no mention of Hamilton's 100 pole positions milestone after qualifying, then he was resistant to letting Hamilton past even though there was zero chance of keeping him behind.

I think that he's getting signs that he will be replaced by Russell after this season, and if there was any hesitation to do so his actions are making the move easier for Mercedes.

It seems that Hamilton was unaware of the "don't slow Hamilton down" order so he was not expecting Bottas to slow his momentum and had no issue with the time it took to pass.

Every time Hamilton complains about his tires he seems to win!
