I used to run AC130/Chopper Gunner for my 3rd Killstreak but I found that I don't usually score that high in Hardcore Team Deathmatch. I switch it to back to AC130/Chopper Gunner only if we play Ground War.

I think Hardline is a pretty useless perk personally. I guess it depends how much you value your killstreaks, but I think having Cold-Blooded, or Danger Close, is far more important in terms of survivability or kill-ability than the bonus you get from Hardline.

Chopper Gunner is pretty useless in Hardcore because of the respawn time and everyone is usually using Cold Blooded. Chopper Gunner on Ground War FTW!!!

I usually use Ninja Pro & Cold Blooded Pro, I've tried other combinations but I have the most success with this setup.

Care Package, Predator, Emergency Air Drop (I play hardcore)

CP because that's the only way I'm going to get the occasional chopper gunner or AC-130, and it's often good for a Predator. By the time I have the rare 8-10 streak going the other team is trying to kill me bad and usually succeeds. And I usually die picking up an EAD crate.

Everything else kinda blows because everybody tends to run cold blooded. Seriously, you could get a team kill with your Harrier bombs and then it could hover and not fire at anybody, for a negative net.

I read the recent update buffed up the attack helicopter so it gets more kills.

Care package, sentry, and emergency air drop for me. Sentry guns are useless in hardcore. But I like to use them as bait for the smartasses who think the ninja pro / cold blooded is going to save them.

We need to figure out a way to get everyone in besides playing ground war. Private matches perhaps? THe only thing that sucks with Private Matches is there's no XP points. That's a no-no for double xp weekends!

Also, so what does " JMacking" mean? Marco was telling me you guys were using it as a verb last night after I got dropped from Ground War

Some of you guys also has to learn to use the party system. If there's a group game going on, everybody should be in the same party. This makes it easier for those logging on to see there's already a group game so they don't try to start thei own, how many are playing, or whether or not to join. Party also makes it easier for the host to get people into the game because all he has to do is invite the whole party instead of sending individual invites.

If you log on and see a party going on, join the party that's already there. That's the queue for the group that you want to join in, so everybody can drop out and pick you up at the end of the match. Be patient. Don't run off and start playing your own match. Nothing pisses me off more than having to drop out of good games, only to find the newcomer already playing and not responding to invites. If I'm the host I will usually text you with the remaining time left in the match (ie "3m"). Run The Pit or something but come running when you get the invite.
