Did every shot hit the perp or just the last one?
If he hit him on the move with every shot, that's not good shooting, it's great shooting.

Indeed a job well done.. man did he bail quick when the perp started shooting.

What an insane job being a LEO can be at times. Got to hand it to the people that sign up for it.

Good job on the officer!

Dude had the drop on him and still couldn't take him out. He also shot a victim multiple times at a casino, including in the head when the victim was lying on the ground, and the victim didn't die.

Sounds like a horrible person with an even more horrible shot record. Fantastic shot on the officer's end!

Glad the officer is good. To bad for the other guy. Oh well.

I agree with you. My intent wasn’t to question his actions in that moment. Just like the CA Forum, if faced with a similar event in the future, what could or would he do differently?

In the USMC we always deconstructed the event afterwards regardless of the outcome.

Oh sure, we debrief major incidents as well.

Wow, great job by the officer! Excellent shooting, especially after just getting shot at and bailing, bet the adrenaline was really pumping. Glad he made out ok.

Next we'll see the mother/sister/aunt give a hysterical interview claiming he was good boy but misunderstood and had a bad upbringing. Then the animals will start looting cell phone stores "protesting" violence.

Wow. That was wild. I know that area well. Used to live not more than a minute or two from that location.

I'm glad Burch came away without injury, and satisfied the suspect won't be able to do that or the other things he's been accused of.

Wow!! Officer Burch is one quick thinker. Dumping the bike was a brilliant move. I imagine the suspect was thinking he could steel the bike AND the AR15.

Body cams don't lie. Sadly we are seeing so many police sghootings the public only assumes the worst, I'm sure the guy recovering from gunshot wounds inflicted by this MF isn't upset about this outcome.

The dead guy's family posted a Youtube video of photos of him but then deleted it along with the GoFundMe pay-for-funeral page.

Glad Motor Officer Burch survived and did his duty. Now he knows he's a great shot when it counts.

True and I agree. But rumor has it that body cams are under threat of being turned off / removed since they don't show the perspective of the other person...
