SOLD * 2015 Yamaha FJ-09 with light farkles

Putting a feeler out to see if there's any interest.

I'm selling my 2015 FJ-09 in red. This was my daily ride for five years but it's time to let someone else enjoy this bike. I hardly ride it anymore and we're saving for a down payment so all the extra stuff is up for sale.

I have the title (it's clean), single owner, located in Newark CA.

Mods include
- color matched FJR panniers (they can hold a full sized helmet) and OEM Yamaha bag mounts
- Ermax wind screen and deflector (it gets the wind over my head but I'm ~5'9)
- Sargent seat
- Scottoiler electronic system
- Higdonian cage (OG version)
- ECU remap
- manual cam chain tensioner
- Oxford heaters and grip puppies
- Shorai lithium battery (this thing is amazing)
- radiator guard

The bike has ~63,300 miles on it, I've changed the oil every 8k with full synthetic. The valves were adjusted at 27k, I checked them around 50k and they were within spec. The bike could use a fork oil change and the steering head bearing has gotten a tad notchy. The chain is so-so. The tires only have about a 1,000 miles on them (I usually get over 10k per set). The little mode selector lever broke off so it's stuck in Standard but that's the only good mode anyway. I have a clear bra on the bike so the paint is in good shape with minor blemishes here and there.

The bike runs great and is just getting broken in at 63k, never dropped or stunted. If you want a reliable commuter that has great headlights and storage but is also a freaking blast to ride... This is it.

I'm looking for $4000 obo, make me an offer!

1% goes to Barf. I'll post more recent pictures tomorrow.

If I didn't already have 5 bikes in the garage, one of which doesn't even get used, I would buy this in a heartbeat. I've always got a soft-spot for big sporty sport touring bikes, especially ones that are well taken care of. I hope this goes to a good home!

Are the panniers the widest part of the bike when attached?

Yeah they’re slightly wider than the stock handguards.
