I will rephrase by saying we have the fifth highest electricity rate and the highest average number of wildfires caused by poorly maintained transmission lines.

ETA: California is a hot mess in so many ways. It's like being in an abusive relationship with someone you love.

People are voting with their feet. California has the highest rate of outmigration of any state right now.

I started a different thread asking people what they would do to improve the world. Some people were suggesting policy change. My point is that laws don't improve things.
