Someday i'll throw on the 15, but right now the bike just plain rips as is. I love it. Reminds me of my favorite SM ever, my 08 510 SMR. I just got gas today 110 miles with 2.2 gallon used, exactly 50mpg, so IMO, good fueling.

I 100% agree with you on the price, but there is nothing really out there that compares. This is the first bike that feels like a racey SM, but can cruise 80 and feel like a twin. So smooth.

I paid $9999 for my '18 with 50 miles on it.

OK maybe the ignition advance is what my bike doesn't like. I have the rott map with ignition timing, the one they sell on their site.

I'm saying the pc5 03 map has the same timing as the rott one (also ignition advance).

Anyways I'm done worrying about it, putting it on a dyno and tuning it there is really the only way to know if the intake and pc5 are worth it.

Just gonna ride it and be happy

Since you guys are talking about the Rottweiler intake/pcv have any of you had issues with it? I emailed them and they are looking at it, but figured I’d ask here too.

I got mine all installed with the ingition map and air intake (with slip on) and it’s surging a lot like I’m in too low of a gear. Happens slightly at maintenance throttle and more so when initially accelerating.

It took me a while to figure out what was wrong. This weekend I could hold a line worth anything. The bike was all over the place in corners. After a ton of testing on road I figure it’s the throttle.

I tried unhooking the o2 simulator (or whatever it’s called) but the issue still seemed to be there. Tune only has about 90 miles.

Or has everyone’s tune gone well and I’m just lucky?

I don't have any issues like that. Are you on the first gen motor or 2nd gen one?

I would unhook the PCV and put everything back to stock and see if you have any issues stock.

The latest PCV does not include an 02 eliminator. It was mentioned by PCV that it is no longer needed.

I am using PC's 003 map and it is incredible.

Unless he reached out to someone and got an updated version, Chris is using an autotuned map for the 690/701. When I was at SpeedMob he had asked me to send him a copy of my map to use for his site (he offered to pay for it). I ended up leaving SM and never got back to him. So I'm not sure if he ever got a custom map or if it's still the auto.

When I had Will at MWorks tune mine, I had already put the rottweiler into it. He was confused by the wild variations between fueling increments and figured it must be indicative of an auto-tuner.

Here's mine before we finished the last 20%. I never got the final map, sadly. (Stopped tuning after 80% throttle b/c of blown head gasket)

Final/current map added a couple hp up top and softened the bottom end for easier slow/parking lot maneuvering.

It’s a 2018 so I’m guessing 2nd gen?

Yeah I’m planning on unhooking the pcv to see if it’s the intake install or the pcv that’s causing the problem.

Exactly on the o2 eliminator. I was really confused when I installed mine. Rottweiler said install it but PC’s site says not to. I tried with and without abs it’s pretty much the same issue.

If my slave hadn’t died this week I’d do more testing. Parts won’t be here until Monday so looks like next weekend I’ll test again.

That fine tune looks good. The map he gave me is just the same one that’s already on the PC. Just reflash same map and see how it goes.

You guys have me half tempted to try a PC map now.

I can now trail brake better with the new master. The master has two adjustments for standard brake feel or stronger brake feel. I am very happy with the upgrade. As an added bonus, the front ABS does not kick in as often when I brake to a stop at the bottom of a steep hill.

Parts list: I bought all these parts from CarpiMoto.

1. 110A26385 Brembo RCS brake reservoir kit (comes with the bracket)
2. 170101 Fren Tubo Universal radial master cylinder adapter
3. C.110A26390 CarpiMoto Clamp with Mirror adapter for Brembo RCS Master Cylinder

A tip-you need to mock-up the brake reservoir container so you can determine two things. One, how much of the hose you need to cut-off so you do not have a kink or pinch in the hose from the reservoir to the brake master. Two, so you can bend the reservoir bracket slightly so that the reservoir sits horizontal while your bike is fully upright. Be careful when you are bending the bracket back and forth so that you do not cause a stress fracture.

Another tip-don't reuse the copper washers between the banjo bolt and the master. Use the thicker stainless steel washers that came with the Fren Tubo Universal radial master cylinder adapter.
