Got the Rex airs for $340 over at STG. They still have a few sizes left in the air and regs.
https://www.sportbiketrackgear.com/sidi-closeouts/ I ran the Vortice airs for 5 or 6 years, and the Rexs are WAY easier to get on/off. I just wish they had the replaceable sole plates like the Vortice, I would have to replace them about every 1.5 years.

At least in the off road line (Crossfire 2 SRS) I find them to be about a 1/2 size small. I'm a solid 13/48, but the CF2 that I have now have a tiny toe box so they are on eBay now.

Did you get the air or regular? How are they in the heat?
I am still running my very old sidi vertigo air boots. My feet haven't ever been cold in them in the winter but if I end up in the wet then I wish I had the non-perf. Wonder how warm the non-perf boots are in the heat of summer? I'll be getting a new pair soon enough. Still undecided on air or not though. I always find it odd they have more colorways in solid than in air because I always thought the air version sells better. Most of the sidi users I know run the air version. |
