Some more of the PitHo Rally.

Cain, Jessie and I rode down on Friday taking the coastal route. We stopped along the way for a photo or two before stopping in Lucia for lunch.

The coast was beautiful. I love riding it-it never disappoints.

Oh. This 'aint no lie-it was windy.

Group shot.

We stopped in Lucia at the Lucia Lodge-the food is good. Sitting outside in the sunshine is awesome.

Looking down at the deck.

If you needed a phone, Lucia isn't the place. This one's broke

Fish & Chips.

We continued on down the coast to hang a left at 46 and arrive a short time later in Paso.

First order of business, stock the fridge.

On Saturday, we took a tour of Hearst Castle. This place is pretty spectacular. I found myself thinking what it must have been like to hang with WRH at one of his parties.

It's hard to get an appreciation for the scale unless you're in the room.

One of many ceilings imported from Europe.

Couple of the guest cottages.

Amazing views abound.

Looking down the path to the pool.

Hearst had a passion for art. It's all over the place. Lots of statuary too.

Example of the statuary.

Small place on a hill.

We hit the dinner on Saturday. What a great place-good food, beer. Not many pics from that.

All too soon, it was time to head home. A friend of mine who lives in Paso arranged to meet Cain, Jessie, Mortifer and Ani at Joe's Place for breakfast. It's a couple of miles from the hotel but worth the drive.

It didn't suck.
