IQ Scores - Below 84

What can this group of people do in today's society when even the Army is prohibited from inducting this 10% of the population?

Soylent Green?

Maybe appropriate fodder for the Thunderdome forum?

I got news for you...the average IQ is dropping, so there will be more of them each year.

IMO, this and automation are why UBI is a great idea and is becoming more necessary.

Super interesting topic. We can all think of a thousand things for people at the lower end to do, but can those positions be profitable, or at least be close to self-sustaining? Can't really have a segment of the country this size be subsidized like mcdonalds/walmart/etc, in addition to the subsidizing at the other end, which is far worse (need vs greed).

Actually, robots CAN do what McDonald's workers do, but the capital cost of designing, building, installing and maintaining them will pay many, many, many minimum wage workers for a very long time.

Also, intelligence does not equal monetary success necessarily.

IQ is a poor system for determining intelligence.

As I said before, do you know how to tell if someone is in Mensa? Don't worry they'll tell you.

I believe that it's designed for 50% to be above 100 and 50% to be below 100 so that statement doesn't really mean anything.

You're saying that 100 is a floating reference?
