Before it was considered an accident that could be raised the negligence. In a month it will be flat across the board illegal.

i don’t know anything about this, I just like this thread for the pretty pictures, but I’m interested in these issues with the legality of minors in possession under the new laws. What about minors with a legitimate medical need? Is that not going to be protected under the new legislation?

If not, that’s pretty disgusting.

Nore mine. Always too many variables involved. When you smoke, vape, or dab you never get 100% of the THC. When you eat it, yah get everything.

That's part of the distinction between medical and recreational. Anyone with a rec can still obtain medical cannabis. Mainly because of the doctor's script and also because that child has been given consent from their parents.

The new laws only effect recreational, but the edibles law (in reference to what it looks like, and how it's made) is across the board.

So if cannabis is decriminalized right now, which it is, it's illegal for me to give some cannabis I purchased legally to a friend, but it's not illegal of him to smoke it...

No, it is legal to give anyone over 21 cannabis. It is illegal to take payment, a donation, or trade for the gift.

It's just like booze. I can make beer in my garage, and I can give you that beer, but without a license from the state I can't sell it to you.

Right but you can also buy beer from a store and give it to a friend, right?

But you can't buy prescription drugs and give them to a friend. And weed is via prescription?

ETA: unless your friend also has a script.

My problem is I use a really really good chocolate chip cookie recipe for my edibles and they taste too good. They freeze really well too. I gave one to my roommate who shared it with his buddy...both of them are ex-football college players and not small or weak guys and they were pretty messed up 2 hours later.

Who the fuck wants pot-infused lasagna?

Idiocy to ban sweet edibles.

But the Extractcraft is essentially producing RSO, is that different in solubility than pressed rosin?

Add it to the candy after you have brought it to temp. Simply wait till it drops back down to 260į for proper Decarboxylation.
I'm using an Ardent Decarboxylator before extraction, so should be ok there, no?

Cooking the Jello should help dissolve, but I have to limit the cooking time to avoid it starting to set in the pot and turn into a goopy mess.

Also, be really careful with gummies. Come January 1st they will be illegal.
Well, shit.

Well, shit.
It is, in that it is a more pure form of THCA. I personally stay far away from any cannabis that has been extracted with any chemicals like BHO, ISO, RSO, and the like. A small home press is not super expensive, and will give you a much better product. If you do decide to go with a press, you will still have to use your Ardent Decarboxylator but after extraction if your candies don't get above 260į.

I have always been under the impression gummies need to be heated to above 150į, but I have never tried a recipe that involves jello. I have always preferred hard candy because it's slower to get a dose.
