Whomever is organizing Borenzo's AMA needs to understand the international reach of MotoGP. They missed the basics by not publishing the time zone on the graphic. i.e. GMT +1, 2, 3, 4, etc...

Must be one of those social media managers getting paid 20k.

LOL!!!

I read through it. Just a bunch of softball questions being answered, i.e. "what's your favorite color" type shit

Moto2 testing at Valencia this week. Tuesday was very wet and cold with very few teams even turning a wheel. Wednesday was dry with cool temps below 50 (fahrenheit) and today looks to be the same.

Wednesday test times had Baldassari, Oliveira and Pasini atop the time sheets. Just over a second off those times was American Joe Roberts on the new NTS chassis recording the 12th fastest time among the 26 Moto2 riders at the test.

I was just coming here to post the combined Wed/Thurs results.

Pasini had the fastest time of the test, followed by Baldasarri, Corsi and Oliveira. Roberts finished with the 13th fastest time but gained ground from 1.4 seconds off the fastest time on Wednesday to 1.1 seconds back on Thursday. Promising to see him within a few tenths of Xavi Vierge and Fabio Quartararo. If he can get into the top ten often this season, that would be fantastic progress considering the nature of the Moto2 field. I think Roberts is only 20 years old so if he can make the most of a few years in Moto2 and keep progressing there will be more opportunities ahead.

Granted that this is an apples and oranges comparison, the top speed seems low. Pretty sure the Ego has chain final drive, so, does the 150mph top speed represent short gearing? If so, why? Also I question the wisdom of choosing a bike that has this much power/weight/cost. Wouldn't it make more sense to use something like a Zero, which would have less power/weight/cost and therefore be much closer to what normal peeps will be buying? The best racing is in Moto3, so ...

I don’t pretend to know - however, what with the years of IoM TT & FIM eCup already run, & just a few 2018 eCup demo races scheduled, we shall see....

theres a Moto2/3 test at Jerez Feb 12-14th.

after Day2, Pecco is on top by 0.2 over AM, with both under the Moto2 lap record. Joe Roberts is 27th out of 31 and 1.8s behind.
