Lake Tahoe trip

Riders, I am planning to take a day ride trip to Lake tahoe from Dublin
routes are as followed:
Hwy 4
Hwy 88
Hwy 89
Hwy 50
around the lake via 28
and return back through Hwy 50,Hwy 5,580

What do you think. Any suggestions.

Can’t really avoid slabbing... I’d do 4 to 88 to 89 to get to the Lake. Maybe take 50 back if you’re tired.

I'd for sure do 88/89 before I'd do 50. Everybody and their grandma is on 50. 88 can be surprisingly empty this time of year.
