How much will budman charge me?

...to get my old name back?

SVsick50?

#emotionalstuff

Years ago, I joined this forum when I got my 1st gen SV650 (see pic with yellow helmet by Andy) with the screen name "SVsick50" - boy I look at those days and my stupid posts and think "wow".

While I'm really embarrassed at some of the things I posted, BARF provided more AWESOME stuff in my life: did the whole Supermoto thing, dirty BARF, raced mini's, made a lot of friends. We did the epic dual sport ride... in the early years did SnellBux and Fremont meets.. some of you may have ridden with me or attended one of my trackdays at Stockton Motoplex. Heck, even got to be a BARF mod! Pretty awesome stuff.

Had 2 failed marriages over the years, re-married into an awesome marriage, bought a house in Capitola, had a family, we have a loving and very happy home, career is amazing, lost a bunch of weight, been riding BMX and doing martial arts and gym'ing it up...

...and man I missed riding motorcycles! I've been jonzing since my wife and I rented a thumper Suzuki Savage 650 and rode the Road to Hana in Maui (which REALLY sucked on that bike), and we upgraded to a Honda Shadow 750 while we were there.

I have been wanting another SV650 for some time. I had a Bandit 600 for a VERY short while 5 years ago, but I wouldn't even count that - I barely rode it and needed a lot of work. So really, the last time I rode was 2010.

I bought another SV650 - it is exactly the way I would've built it (front end needs to be resprung for my weight, so I got RaceTechs on order). It is really crazy to have started on BARF while in my 20's and now I am in my mid-40's. My perspective has changed so much for the better.

Anyway, here is the new SVsick50. I feel so incredibly blessed to be riding again and look forward to teh BARF again!

*Should I introduce myself in the newbie section??

do you have a decent shock for it? I think I have an 06/07 ZX10R shock taking up space and it's the best regarded stock upgrade.

Thank you for the offer! It has a an 07-08 Gixxer shock. Not quite the lift the Kawi shock would've given it, but 335 is cool with me
