Have you tried pressing that pedal near your right footpeg?

This is the 5th set I've put on in the 262.5 hrs I've had the bike. They last me about 65 hrs on average. Haven't replaced the front pads yet, although they are getting close, I have a new set on the bench waiting.

Agreed. Itíll buff right out.

Speaking of rear brake; I need to get better working that right foot. I have dramatically improved but still could benefit from finer control and getting comfortable with having the rear step out and transition smoothly to throttle.

Going to adjust timing on the bike today and then change the gear oil. Only one ride on the oil but trying to flush out the stuff that was in the box previously and set a baseline. Oil is cheap at $2.75/oil change. Then Iíll pull the carb and set my float as it is definitely off. Found out when you set the float height it should be when it firsts touches the plunger. I set it originally while the plunger was depressed :doh! Iíll also check my jetting and see where Iím at as I didnít write down the numbers.

Getting ready for riding next weekend. Maybe ride Georgetown or a redemption ride at Stony because I didnít get to ride much last weekend due to weather and getting frozen out because I didnít wear enough gear to stay warm.

Busted Radius? Ouch!

Surgery? It doesn't look displaced... maybe you'll be lucky.

Finally pulled the toasted Maxxis Desert IT off the back of the XR after our Baja Trip. I was surprised to find two table spoons of sand in the tire! I never got a flat and ran 20 or so PSI. We did do something like 1,000 miles in a lot sand. That stuff gets everywhere.

Installed a 44T sprocket & Dunlop D606 on my spare wheel... Quickly put on the 13T up front - sprockets are easily changed with the DR's little snap ring clip. D606 isn't as aggressive as I want, but it's just lying around in the garage doing nothing, and I figured I might as well burn it off.

More OEM parts arrive today... Fork oil along with slide & guide bushings, and an oil seal for the clutch shaft/rod, which has been leaking on the last ride or two.

I cross posted this in another general thread.

FYI, eBay has another 15% off sale (max $50) if you use their phone app to complete the purchase. Coupon code is PLAN2SAVE.

Just scored a rear 18" Tubliss system for $73 shipped.
