While I appreciate the work that went into both of those bikes, Kawasaki kind of nailed that bike out of the gate. Really hard for me to get too excited.
That bike is kind of like a 1963 Buick Riviera: it's perfect from the factory. I've seen chopped tops, heavy bodywork, etc. The reality is that all those changes just make it different, not better.

Perfectly said! I love the look of the factory bike. While these modified versions are cool, I can't help but see the pricetags on those items. $4k wheels, $2500 exhausts, one-off bracketry, etc. $$$$$$$$$$
