Seat suggestions for Oakland SX

I haven't been to an SX event in many, many years and was curious if folks had suggestions about where to sit in relation to the track layout.

Based on this layout, I was thinking that somewhere along in the X02-X06 sections would probably be good.

Does that sound about right or should I consider different section(s)?

Looking forward to seeing the event, and sharing it with my kids!

Anywhere in the round part ought to be good. I try to avoid being behind the start line. For Supercross I prefer up higher where I can see the whole track as opposed to down low where you're closer to the action on the one or two sections of track that you can see.

I always choose as close as possible just because when something awesome happens right in front of you, it's ten times more awesome. That's my personal tradeoff for missing something cool happening on the other side that you can't see. I'd probably pick anywhere from 103 to 114, or 125 to 132, or 139 to 149, in that order of grouping preference.

i like to sit at the end of the hole shot if down low. otherwise front or second row on the 2nd or 3rd deck. if rain is in the weather forecast usually bottom section 2-3 rows back under the 2nd deck. some one is selling good seats in the grab bag section

Sorry to disappoint Butch, I'll bring beer to the next StonyBARF to make up for it
I know at home is really the best, but I have fond memories of going to the SX with my folks when I was around my kids age, so wanted to give it a shot this year.
Thanks everyone for the input!
