Looking for peeps to ride with / group ride

Hey guys, I'm new to the area and was looking to connect with some folks that either have bikes or atvs and go riding in the local OHV parks or other places. I posted an intro here: https://www.bayarearidersforum.com/f...3#post10798833

I'm working on getting registration situated as my bike doesn't have a title, so getting the trail permit is a bit challenging. I was looking at riding in Carnegie and some of the other places listed, but was also curious if anyone recommends any non-state parks as well.

I'm from the East Coast where riding was literally limited to private property or MX tracks for the most part in my area, so everything out here is just night and day different

Put me down for joining if you decide to ride Carnegie. I should mention that Carnigie is a love it or hate it type of area. It is known for its very steep and technical conditions. I highly recommend going with someone who knows the area for your first few times. Its very easy to make a wrong turn and get stuck in places where you can't get out. I can be emailed or PM'd via the forum.

Hey folks, just a re-ping post. If anyone might be up for riding this weekend, I finally got my registration situated and my bike is ready to run

Did you get a green sticker?

You're not gonna get many bites until Oct 1 when red sticker opens back up at Hollister and Carnegie. So unless you head out to the national forest where are areas with no sticker restrictions, you're gonna be pretty limited to green sticker folks for now.

They give out trail maps, so it's not too hard to stay out of the black diamond stuff at Carnegie.

I used a GPS during two visits to Carnegie on my XR650L. Basically I was on all of the green and blue trails except a couple that were closed at the time. This is a Google Earth view of what I was able to easily ride while I was there:
