Ray Abrams / A & A / AMA HOF mission

Cross posting in case you are Vintage centric and might be able to help.

I am on a AMA O/MC #0001 mission to get Ray Abrams in the the AMA HOF.

Have reached out to some old school racing players but if you have contact with some your help would be appreciated.

My AMA insider says quotes from players and photos are great to support a nominated person. I intend to bring it.

A & A and Ray are historical and he deserves to be honored.

A&A’s 1975 Champion framed TZ750 at the Stockton Mile in 2010 ...

I’ll reach out to SFMC member Jim H.
he and his brother, Joe H used to get support from A&A Racing
for their flat track efforts back in the day ...

the SFMC had a tour of A&A Racing’s shop down in San Carlos in 2006:

Mr Abrams started up the fearsome TZ750 for us, and rode it up and down the block. Joe H got to ride it, too, as I recall.

the Hoogerhyde brothers on either side of Mr Abrams, closest to the camera, Joe H. on the right.

bad pic of Joe H. on the TZ ...

Mr Abrams graciously spent a lot of time with us, telling us all about the bikes and memorabilia in his famed shop ...

racing hubs for building 19” wheels ...

we have a relationship with Mr Carter of Motion Pro, who’s old shop was around the corner from Mr Abrams’ shop in San Carlos ... we can reach out to him about supporting Mr Abrams’ nomination to the AMA Hall of Fame, too.

a link to our photo album from that day in 2006. we went on to tour Mr Carter’s collection of sweet old motorcycles at Motion Pro:
