Hello Barf!

Moving to a state that may not accept this race horse for the street. It is currently CA plated and street legal. Electric and kick start.

I have used this bike for adventure rides up and down California. This bike is fully capable of anything off road and tolerates pavement.

New top end, Yamaha piston, head rebuilt with Yamaha parts. Valves adjusted within 200 miles.

Suspension tuned by Smart Performance, stock springs.
Scotts steering damper

There's a stricter state than California?

Thank you! From what i can tell, Oregon has started comparing vins and whether the engine was Epa compliant for street use. I would rather it stay as a street bike. Going to try and leave it with its next home here.

It is a terrific trail machine. Has ridden in the Sheetiron, Lost Coast, and Ridge Runners ride. I am still researching Oregon DMV, but in the mean time giving someone a chance at a great dual sport.

Any info on Clackamas county? If they are more accepting, problem solved!

Everything needs a vin check from California.
Get the forms at the DMV make a appointment with the state trooper.
He comes out. runs the vins to see if stolen. Signs paper...go get plates..$220.
You get 2 years on tags..everything is cheaper in Oregon for vehicles.
Except Trailers RVs..they charge by the foot!

A commercial F250 that 20 years old is 500 in Ca.for 1 year.
Its 220. For 2 years in oregon...
