2009 KTM 400 XC-W Dual Sport

Iíve had this bike since 2012 and have not put many hours on it since 2015 when I installed the factory dual sport kit. It is geared short for tight woods riding and I ran it mostly at Hollister, Metcalf and Penny Pines. I hauled it around the country with me in my Funmover and rode it in Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Florida.

The 400 has the same bore as the 450 but has a short stroke crank which makes the bike feel much lighter. It weighs about the same as a 450 or 530 but is much easier to ride and less tiring.

I'm told that transferring the SD plate to CA is a problem because there are not enough miles on the ODO, they require 7500 on an out of state purchase. A potential buyer took the VIN and plate number to the DMV to inquire and was told the VIN was OK, but the miles were the problem. As such, the bike is priced as a pure dirt bike.

The suspension is stock and works well, but is overdue for servicing.

I'm getting ready to make tracks for Colorado and don't have room to bring this bike with me.
