In '91 I raced a YSR50 endurance race with the CRRC (now called CMRA) at Oak Hill Raceway in Henderson, Texas.

My teammate and I finished 14th. We might've finished higher, but some dumbass novice ran out of gas, parked the bike and hung out with a cornerworker for 10 minutes until the same dumbass suddenly wondered if the YSR50 petcock had a Reserve. It did.

In all fairness to me, I was a last-minute fill-in rider who had never rode a YSR50 til that weekend. Can't feel too bad though, we still beat some punk-ass kid named Nicky Hayden.

LMAO.

SMRRC has a 2hr endurance race on 9/19/04 at Stockton Motorplex. I was going to run my YSR, but picked up a Derbi 50 Supermotard. Last year at Prairie City with GSMRRA, my bro's YSR blew up halfway through the 2 hour endurance race.

Ive had fun looking at the other pictures here - even a guy from Spain! So if I havnt screwed up, there should be a picture of the 95 AMA Sears National. The caption spells my name wrong but, what the hell ! I made the sports page of a 'regular' newspaper.
This was the last lap turn 2, I was pretty pleased I almost didnt get lapped, If I remember correctly this was only my second AMA superbike race and I finished 12th. (and nine years later - still my best AMA SB finish, )

rob

OK I messed up somewhere, any of you veterans wanna help a rookie? I 'attached' a file but it didnt show up on the message. What did I do wrong?

thanks

OK,
Even with Budman's help my computer is not going to let me attach a picture, poo. So I went a surfed for a few online to see if I could upload.

Me (42) leading Doug Pitcock, (38) Dean Mizdal, Marco Martinez, (I think Jeremy Toyae on yellow bike) and (12) Ricky Orlando.

And this one was taken at Pacific Raceways in Washington this year chasing down the leader while in 2nd place.

Didn't work. He won, I crashed. Three months on crutches. End of season.

I also was shocked when I saw this one, as #69 is James King, One of the Fast guys in the class, and he didn't ever get by me...

I figured I'd post a couple of pics. This first one is of me in September 2002 at Infineon when I was racing my Aprilia RS250 in the AFM. I think the photographer got a nice, crisp action shot in this one.
