exactly. tuning the electronics on these bikes, even w/ the spec ECU, is not a one man job. there might be 2-3 ppl that make suggestions during a session. but in between sessions and especially in between days/weekends, all the data is sent back to the factory where a team of engineers looks it over and proposes solutions. having one guy working at Duc many years ago doesn't mean squat for todays electronics.

right now, we know that HRC and Duc have the most technical expertise w/ the current software. Duc's expertise supposedly comes from the spec software being largely based on their previous software. HRC's expertise comes from recent large investments including poaching software engineers from I don't remember where. Yamaha is lagging behind because they prob havent done what HRC did and don't have Duc's previous knowledge. the other factories might also be lagging behind for similar reasons.
