I started on a ninja 250 as well, cool bike for the time I rode it, then I wanted something with a bit more power for the freeway. But I really did enjoy riding the bike a lot. When I first started riding I didn't position my body properly and I'd lean the bike over too much in the turns and I'd scrape hard parts like the center stand or pipes, good learning experience for me, I knew I was doing something wrong if I was scraping hard parts if club racers on 250s don't and they are much faster than me.

I know but my budget went from a sv650 to a ninja 250. but it will be good to learn on then i can move up later. im just excited to finally get on the road. and the bike is immaculate.
