Nice Marketing Joe!

I'm curious, where did that photo come from in the initial post? I don't remember you getting the lead on me at T-hill. I'm so far behind you there, I'm blurry!

You've got a horrible memory old man! I smoked you and Jon on the first lap at one of the Thill races (came over your nose in T1 , remember?) only to have you guys run me down as I fucked off. I was on Bobby's ass for the whole lap til we came out of 9, caught him in 11, then had him take off again on the straight.

Jon passed me on the front straight into 14 maybe (i thought it was on the front straight) and you came by out of 8 or some where in there. For a second, I had the world in my hands... Now if I could just make those great starts into some straight away speed (or diet pills...).

If I remember correctly you and Jon held each other up and I took something like a 5 second lead on you while running with Bob. Not the first time I got the good start and ended up 4th!

look how big of a lead bobby pulled out just from T11! I was no more than a second or so behind him going into 11 and by the time we got to T1 he was long gone...

And here's me ready to pounce again (or run off the track in 14 with brake issues...)

You know what.... I do stand corrected. You did get a nose on me in 1 at the start and held it. Jon passed you going into 1 on lap two and I couldn't quite make it so I think got around you going into 2 or 3 on lap two.

That was the race that I passed Jon for second and he said I passed a guy on a yellow flag. Lucky for me his pit had already exhausted their political good will for the year, and he didn't protest.

You know Joe, with Bobby and myself in "retired" status, you ought to keep running that bike. I bet you would get a lot of trophies and finish 2nd or 3rd in the championship.

By the way... I did forget... but I'm not that old.....

ha. I wish you were right. It'd be tough to get back up there with as much speed coming in as left. Joe Sickle will be back, Forman, Doresy and Zoran on new 500's (maybe fuel injected), and maybe even Spencer.

I don't doubt that I'd keep getting faster by a bit, but the problem is I need more than a bit to get towards 1st. Plus, I've already finished from 2nd to 6th (just need that first!), so I'll pass the bike onto someone who'll hopefully do better than me.

If it's still around though, I'm looking forward to our big F500 reunion at sears when forman, doresy, zoran, sickle, bobby, Patrick, kevin, you and me all get to have some fun. Think about it, you have a bad race and you end up 9th!!!

That would be one hell of a race.

When I first started racing, Zoran was the guy to beat in the 650 class. I might have to make a cameo appearance if Zoran really rides, but he's always playing around. Don't believe he's racing unless you actually see him cross the finish line. OTOH I really wish I had the chance to race Kurt back at BW. THAT would have been a fun race.

I better stop. This sport is addicting! I'm too easily tempted....

Okay, enough memories, who's gonna buy this thing and be the one none yellow bike on the podium next year?

One other thing for those newer riders interested: I only missed one top novice trophy the whole time I road in the 500 class, and the AND was a BIG part of that (I also crashed out that race). So, if you wanna have some fun and bring home some trophies, maybe the AND is for you!

It's street legal, I promise. Now where's the money.

Really though, why would I want to go through the trouble of making it street legal just so you could low ball me? If you love it so much why don't you make it street legal? And why would you want a street legal custom frame EX500 in the first place? Did you read the part of the thread that mentions it doesn't have a charging system? Not only that, but where the fuck would the kickstand go?

Ah, so many questions...
