Looking for a 250 for the wife to start on. I've been trolling the entire Northern California area on Craigslist and have yet to find something truly decent that isn't over $2500. I'd be willing to spend in the neighborhood of $1500-$2000....maybe a bit more depending on the bike. No way am I paying more than $2500 for a bike that costs $2900 new and even then it'd be a stretch since 2007 was the last year the $2900 model was sold. Let me know what you got.

Here's a tip jason:
Go to craigslist and search for these keywords:
ex250
Ninja 250
ex 250

At the bottom of the craigslist page is a yellow button named "rss". Click it, and it will ask you how you want to subscribe. I choose "google", then google reader.
Repeat this step for each search.
This allows you to go to google reader and check if any new posts have been put up under one of those keywords without having to constantly search CL.

I think she'd be seriously intimidated by something like that. But I guess I'd have to see it or get her to sit on it...if she could even get her leg over it.
