Sierra Passes?

Has anyone been on Ebbetts/Monitor/Sonora Passes recently? I am thinking of riding up there next week and wondering what condition the roads are in. Haven't been up there all year and need to go before winter closes them!

They're going to be clear all the way until November 10. Or they better be! Some of us have a date with the East Walker River brown trout...

I went through Carson (Hwy 88) and Monitor (Hwy 89) on Saturday, perfectly clear, no signs of winter approaching.

The advice for Sierra passes is late braking then cutting inside to the apex and powering out using the whole lane so that RV has to back off and give you position.

Weather has been Awesome for a while...Now that the killer heat down here is turned to cool.

When it is killer hot down here, storm cells are huge, up on top.

Should be awesome right now. I rode some roads further south yesterday. Hwy 168 and Kaiser pass. Weather was freaking beautiful. Saw shaver lake and Huntington lake. Looked shallow. No traffic
