Hello All, and Buenos Dias!

I'm looking to compete in the AFM classes of Open Superbike, Open GP, and Formula Pacific, either at the end of this season or the beginning of next.

I only have a few requirements:
  • Legal to participate in the above classes.
  • At least 190whp.
  • Adjustable rearsets to fit someone 6'4" tall.
  • Solid brakes that don't fade, even if the rider decides to drag them all the way around the track.
  • Steady, solidly-mounted fairings, so that I can mount all 7 of my GoPros and get some sick vidz.

It would also be helpful if you knew your spring rates and damping ratios, front and rear.

Bonus points if it's 2008 or older, so that I can race in Legacy Heavy, too. Gotta rack up dem expert points for MotoAmerica!

If you have a bike for sale, or know of anyone with one, PM me with the stats and an asking price.

Thanks!

I envy your free time if you're able to watch all the videos from all of your 7 GoPros.

Lol, pre 2008 and 190+ HP is going to be l hard to get and unfortunately Moto America has an age cutoff which you would know if you had a pro lisence but since your asking for a bike, I'd save up $20k and see if Ricky Cory has his R1 still or just have a superbike motor built for $15-20k and put it in a world superbike chasis and compete with siggy and other top dogs

Stupid question, but what's your current level race experience? I don't mean to offend, but I get the impression that you haven't raced with AFM before. Any other race orgs? Why are you looking to start in the top, most competitive, and most expensive tiers of club racing?

No question is a stupid question! I have 3 races. I'm not fast yet, but it's getting more and more difficult to tell where the slow comes from: me or my bike. Hence the strategy: get a top-level bike and know 100% that the slow is coming from me.

My intro thread that FXCLM5 is referencing.

I don't doubt that I could compete with MM, if I had adequate time and resources. And a smaller, racer-sized body. But I don't. So I'll have to settle for seeing how far I can get with the cards I've been dealt. Which, from where I'm standing, seems like a decent finish in a MotoAmerica race.

If this is the case, I assume you are finishing top three in your class ( and it must have over 20 competitors) and running 1:55s at Thill. (You can run a 1:55 at Thill on an SV)

I can pretty much save you the money and guarantee you that the slow is coming from you.

You really like to toot your own horn.

congrats on picking up your pace and competing as you have done.

Get some coaching if you want to go faster, don't waste your money playing bike tag.
