Article says they still plan on trying to sue Keigwins - even if they don't win, it's still expensive for the TDP to have to defend it. Ruining it for everyone.

I think Dennis and the mods will give me a pass, if I proclaim, "What a DICK!" Oh please dear Libra, may the hammer of justice smack this guy and his attorney in the head crotch. Thank you.

I am actually amazed that this kind of pussy ass shit (suing when you forget how to turn) hasn't ruined track days for all of us already. I didn't think track organizations would be able to withstand the onslaught of stupid f*&$%g people.

Exactly... if you screw up, at least be humble enough to admit you screwed up. Don't freaking whine about how it's the track's fault for not maintaining things.

I had jury duty last year in Judge Wills court, in a wrongful termination/discrimination case, seemed to be a no-nonsense kinda guy.

Am I correct in imagining a FLAP ninja 300 careening towards T3 with all of its fire breathing 35hp?

These types of lawsuits are helping to drive up track days costs and the chance that they may disappear all together one day.

They have been happening for years and years.
I still have vivid memories as a rookie AFMer when one of the other rookies went off track at Sears at turn 10 (before the chicane) and suing Sears --this was during a racing event.

Glad the track beat this and I hope Keigwin does as well.

My God I get tired of people who sign a waiver admitting that this "may cause serious injury or death" and then sue.

If the pipe was in the middle of turn 3 on track... OK.. I can see it.

Rider sucked and the track threw him off it.
