ah this sucks - redwood is the quickest stint for me to get some decent riding in - maybe they'll fix some of the damn bumps there but i doubt it.

Same here. I will probably ride in less if I can't take RWR on the way home.

Skyline > McArthur > Lake Chabot Road just doesn't have the same feel.

Really? Can you still go through though? It only looks to be on the outside but who knows how long until the whole thing goes.

It is closed. no estimate on when it will re open. not looking good. it will probably totally collapse, esp if it rains more.

Ya'll ride it too much and you guys broke it.

This majorly sucks, Alhambra Valley and Redwood were both my main local roads, and now both are closed indefinitely :/

well...looks like I'm leaving here just in time. Hopefully things will improve when I'm back 4 years from now?

doubtful, though...

I have not fully grasped the closure of Redwood. I'll come to reality tomorrow when I am lane splitting 580... Ugh.

Well it is still possible to ride Redwood between Skyline and Marciel Gate, after that the road is closed. Might be a good thing, much less traffic.
