I mix my peppermint extract into a small amount of Bronner's and a bunch of water. Then put it in a spray bottle and spray as needed.
Shocking your ass like a faulty vibrator. Hear me now but you'll probably feel the vibe later.

My wife read that peppermint oil repels spiders and will occasionally spritz the base of our front door to keep spiders out.

Now, undoubtedly there is a spider who wanders in occasionally, just like people sometimes still go to a Sears, and there are certainly other things that come in under the door crack, like millipedes and even Jerusalem crickets.

But what she doesn't get is that they are called "house spiders" for a reason. It's like that movie where the babysitter calls the cops and the cop say, "Jill, he's calling from INSIDE the house." So the peppermint oil basically just makes her feel good.

My bike has actual black widows spinning webs on it. You can tell by their sloppy-ass webs. Occasionally I'll hit it with some spider-specific pesticide under the seat, so that I don't reach in for my insurance card and get bitten. But I don't think there is a better solution.

Permethrin. You can get it on Amazon either pre-mixed or in a concentrate. It kills the fuck out of spiders. Spray it wherever they may go, and they will be dead. I spray it on most doorways in my house all the way around as well as in the crevices on my bikes and cars where spiders like to live. Be careful as when it's in its liquid or aerosol form, it's toxic to a lot of animals. Once it dries it's safe though.

I use this on a fence on my property that gets covered with spiders and spider webs. It kills them immediately and keeps them away for months. They even say it can be used indoors, but I haven't done that.

I'd carefully apply some to the problem areas in your fairings and I bet your problems will go away.

IMO let the spiders hang out. Maybe watch some spider documentaries.
