Love it!
Took awhile to get it set up to my liking, but no different than any other bike.
My last 450 was a Husaberg, the Honda's power is no where near as explosive.
The power's very smooth and linear, with very little vibration for a single.
We plan on hitting Hollister (If everything's open) on Sat, usually parked by the last outhouse on radio ridge. Your welcome to throw a leg over and take it for a putt.

Technically, this was yesterday...

I put the new Shinko 244 tires on the XR650L. They had already been installed on my spare rims. I was talking to my neighbor down the street, the one with the Weestrom, and mentioned that I would be installing my other tires on it. He said "what will that take, an hour or two?" and I said, "Nah, 20 minutes."

So I turned on the timer on my phone to find out just how long before doing anything more than checking the tire pressure on the new tires (which had sat for a month) to see just how quickly I could do it. This meant that the time included finding the tools and everything I needed plus getting it up on the stand. Of course, things didn't quite go well after I got it up on the dirt bike stand. It was off center and started falling off. Ended up on the garage floor. Picked it back up, put it back in place, more solidly this time, and went to work.

I also had to do the front wheel twice after leaving the spacer on the old wheel the first time. Even with the two screw-ups the timer showed 21:21 using only the tools that I always carry with me on the bike. I definitely could have done it in 20 minutes - maybe even 15 - if I hadn't screwed up.

Rode it around in the cold for about 15 minutes to sort of scrub in the tires. May have to go find some mud today.

Went for a ride, got stuck in the snow, repacked my horribly spooging silencer.

Epic dirt ride this weekend with some fellow barfers. Drove trucks down to Mojave and rode around Jawbone and Dove Springs, Red Rock Canyon and looped out to Randsburg and back. We did a little over 100 miles on the second day. Exhausting but seriously great riding. We had a group of seven riders 3 2t, and 4 4t bikes. Hopefully some of the others will post up some photos because I didn't take many.

I've decided that my ktm 200 is a keeper after this ride! Woot!

I had a fantastic time riding with you all! I'm glad the goat found room in your heart.

I can't believe how many miles we racked up the first day. Mad respect for those LAB2V riders.
