Again, the goal is minimization to reach eradication.

If you can minimize it by the majority doing the right thing, it slows to nil and goes away.

Are you accounting for photo compression, they don't look that close to me.

But at the end of the day, they’re sitting back to back. Unless you breathe out the back o’ yo damn neck, I don’t see a huge issue.

Still not seeing the difference between America and Sweden?

See if you can find a photo like the American one above, in Sweden.

right, i understand the point and i agree that sweden's approach is better (if you read my earlier posts in this thread, you could probably gather that i'm a fan of sweden's approach to covid). however look at the quote... unless if you meant something else, i was pointing out that your statement is factually wrong/false.

Your argument is trite

You’re arguing semantics instead of arguing the point

You’re arguing against me instead of arguing against the premise.

I believe we (in the US) have a large problem with our recovery due to the actions taken to shutter businesses / whole sectors without an appeal process, etc: the (now) large risk to investment capital to rebuild those industries without assurances this will happen again. This means limited access to capital for all the closed (still) sectors as well as those recently opened. I don't see it happening.

It's imperative the authorities in charge correct the actions they took in shuttering economic sectors in their state(s) before they have to take action again and put forth a reliable process for doing so in the future should they need to. The dictatorial process by Health officers, Mayors and Governors will have future consequences.

Go Sweden, for that reason alone.

Fully agreed

We have a long road of remediation in front of us.

You’re also not grasping or not commenting on the concept of why there is significant differentiation between the two countries. You’re smarter than the former

i suppose that's the difference between an engineer and an analyst again. the semantics are important because your assertions are the basis of your claim.

your claim becomes a lot less useful if a 5 minute youtube search can disprove it.. just sayn. feel free to attribute the entirety of the differences to hand wavy cultural factors lol...

The biggest barrier this country faced in re-opening the country was the anti-masker mentality.

If there had been a clear and consistent message and actions most of this country would have been re-opened months ago.

generalizing people to their profession seems kind of unfair, i would prefer that you hate me personally and hold the grudge towards me, not people who work hard at making your life and everyone else's better.
