Guitar I sold on BARF in 2011.

One of the members, a Russian dude, bought my custom built Carvin carved top guitar. I would LOVE to have it back. I have recovered some of the things I needed to sell in 2010-11 but that guitar stays in my brain.
So, if it is just sitting in someoneís closet, man o man would I love to have it in my hands again!
Cheers!

Yeah... good luck.

Don't remember his handle??
If you posted it up for sale here you can still track that thread down my date.

Hit your own profile and click statisitics / find all threads started and work back to the time period you sold it.

Thanks Budman.
Here’s the thread:

As pointed out, no clear buyer. The guy was active in the sink on gun topics. Claimed to be a Spetsnaz sniper or something. Came to buy the guitar in a corvette iirc.

I think most can see why I want it back, besides the fact Carvin doesn’t exist anymore.

Mark and Jeff changed the name back to Kiesel and are still turning out amazing instruments(I own 5)in Escondido, including the CT you’re looking for.

Good luck man. I really, really hope you find your baby.

Not Roman. At least I don’t think so......

His handle was some “g” word like geyev but not him. Look, I could be completely confused.
Looking over my threads I would love to have half that shit back but at least I got one guitar back thanks to GPZpop(?) and AFM-Florea. Hell, Alex delivered it to me in Cabo a month before the hurricane.

Hi DrSwade. The only guitar I purchased from BARF was a custom Telecaster a very long time ago. I was hit up by the original owner and returned it to him. Kind of the same story as you have. Sold it because he needed $$$ but really wanted it back which I gladly did. But that guitar was hand made, not a Carvin. Sorry, wish I could help.

It was mine. I sold to Tripleseven and you bought it from him I think. Alex brought it down here to me in Cabo. It was a custom built for me Surles Tele Variax transplant. I am looking at it right now.
I am very grateful you sold it back to me.

Yep, that was it. Sorry I can't help on the other one, but for sure it wasn't me who purchased it. Otherwise it would be on its way back to you.

Damn, it's been too many years, need to schedule another trip to Cabo when this bullshit is over... ugh If you locate the guitar, I might make a second delivery!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Back at you Alex. Hope all is well. We will definitely fish this time. Dorado and Wahoo have been biting like crazy. Even some small tuna.
My contact info is in my BARF yellow pages add...if it ever gets published.

A recent bit of tuna and wahoo trimmings.
