Hey Jeremy!

Haha ... "Fookin' hell, look at that!"

Elsinore was certainly one of the nicest bikes I've ever seen ... glad it found a good home, it would be cool if we heard from the new owner!

We were taking portraits that day ... I seem to recall I got you a copy of a
Pic from the camera that you would have been looking at? Otherwise I can try to find a copy of that pic for you ...

Hope your AFM roadracing career is going well ... I keep an eye out at that garage you used to have in our neighborhood for you on the off-chance that I can say "hey" ...

see you around the corner,
-- John A

Mods vs Rockers. Freaking great.
I just watched "Quadraphenia" the other night.

You big city hoodlums have no respect for the law!

And gitoffa my lawn!

We've done some mods vs rockers runs up here in Oregon, but we always end up in the country where we don't have any opportunities to upset city traffic patterns.

I've already posted pics of my old bikes at BARF, but now that we have a place for it, I'll repost them.

My 1966 Royal Enfield Interceptor.

My 1965 BMW R69S.
Street trim.

In offroad touring trim, along with two others just like it. (mine's the one in back)
We ride these on a 500-1000 mile trip every summer.

I have two sets of wheels, so it's quick and easy to interchange between street and offroad setups.

My 1970 BSA 441 Shooting Star. (B44SS)
A Victor dirt bike with steel gas tank and low-level exhaust.

My 1958 Indian Enfield "Tomahawk" (titled as 1959 model, but actually delivered to US dealer in November, 1957)
Photo is about 10 years old, in this incarnation, has my Interceptor engine in it, incorrect fenders and seat, now undergoing restoration to original form as a more dual sport oriented 500 twin.

Those are some sweet rides, Carlos! I have always loved the R69S. Good job, and I think it awesome that you go on real rides with them.

Here's mine - slowly making modifications. Still a lot of work to do, but making progress...

That's a very clean classic Honda. Lovely. Looks like you're there already.

Thanks, Carlo. Up close she's a little rough around the edges and needs a paint job, which is on the horizon...and I've got a custom made seat coming my way. Looking forward to meeting up soon. Cheers, Matt
