What a great race. I was really happy to see the rain, that threw a wrench into the works.

I didn't know that Bottas spoke sign language....?

It's the only time any Finn gets emotional.

I would have thought Hamilton would have tried to block VerStappen who got one heck of a start.

Rare to see Hamilton make such a mistake but he made the best of it and was "saved" by the bad pass attempt on Bottas by Russell.

Norris is the real deal and hopefully Ricciardo will get up to speed in his car but at the very least he made the right decision it seems to leave Renault.

Glad to see Ferrari competitive again.

Great driving by Verstappen.

It looked like Bottas jinked towards Russell as he was about to pass him and he reacted just enough to put him on the grass.

The rain definitely made it a more interesting race.

Bottas showed, once again, that he doesn't have a strong rain pace.

Most started on intermediates; I think Gasly was the first of the bunch to be on full wets which turns out was an error.

Nobody started on slicks.

Oops. Yeah. Tired from track season. Superseded data.

He must have had his reasons for focusing on Perez instead of Verstappen.

Risked handing the race to VerStappen and took the risk.

Happy to see active competition at the front.

I have more hope for Perez to close the gap to his teammate than Bottas, that's for sure.

Bottas seems lost.

You can't drive those cars and effectively compete if you're running scared.

Russell is a better and faster driver than Bottas when you consider the entire package. Bottas is fast most of the time but he's not the complete package. I think Bottas knows that his days are numbered if Hamilton stays after this year.

Yeah, let's not ignore the fact that Russel ran down a MB in a Williams.

Damn, should have known better than to read this thread the morning after a race (prior to actually watching the race).

If you haven't seen the movie "RUSH" it's worth a view.
Ron Howard's Formula One movie, starring Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl. The movie is based on the real-life rivalry between British driver James Hunt (Hemsworth) and Austrian champion Niki Lauda (Brühl). Some good mid 1970's F1 history.

Also, good to see Grosjean back in a race car. He finished 10th in yesterday's Indy race in Alabama with the Dale Coyne Racing / RWR-Honda team.
