Eight year old girl defeats Zoom

You computer geeks might appreciate this. It's a semi-long story on Twitter that I found out about from comp.risks 32.51.

Quote from near the end:

My niece found the exploit and combined it with her cute 8 year old face, a face that never could tell a lie much less pull off an elaborate scheme to trick no less that 8 adults for 3 weeks straight.

That was awesome. Wonder how she figured it out seems like a weird error to be able to find and perpetuate not knowing that it would lock you out for progressively longer.

I have grandchildren that had their own iPhone as young as 3 years old (their father sells them to large businesses for AT&T) that likely could have figured it out at that age. They just need to do it accidentally once and have it shut off for ten minutes and they'll remember how it works. I've witnessed kids getting back at friends or siblings by shutting down phones or tablets for a while like that.
