Zombie Movies

I have been binge watching zombie movies on Youtube and Netflix. Any recommendations?

Here’s a good Bollywood zombie movie that has both Comedy and Suspense:

If there really was such a thing as a zombie it would look and act like Donald Sutherland.

Yeah, Dead Alive is a must see, I would say if you want to go down a list, review the Classics. Start with Romero's work, since he invented the Genre.

Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead. The originals, not the later remakes. "Dawn" is what I feel is the single best picture ever shot in this genre.

Once you have seen the master define the genre, go and have fun. The Return of the Living Dead pictures are a blast. Return of the Living Dead III is my favorite. Keep in mind this picture series is campy and fun, not as serious as the Romero pictures.

Also very funny is the British hit Shaun of the Dead, and if you ever get a chance, the Australian picture Cemetery Man is an underground classic that really deserves a shot. I could go on, but that is a good starting point, Train to Busan is an excellent contemporary entry though.

The sequel, 28 weeks later, is also good.

Funny thing though, for whatever reason, I never considered 28 days a "zombie" movie.

Dunno why, just didn't click to me that way.

Thanks for the recommendations! Just finished Train to Busan and now want to see the sequel that just came out. When will it come to the states?

Iím confused by what is the criteria for zombie movie too. In some movies they move slow and are not very coordinated and smart. But in others they are lightning fast and show high levels of animal intelligence. I also just saw Brad Pittís WWZ and thought the ending made no sense. I read in the reviews that the book is way better.
